The Asheville Area Paralegal Association hosts monthly meetings at 12:30pm on the first Thursday of each month at Van Winkle Law Firm, located at 11 N. Market Street, in Downtown Asheville, North Carolina. The topic and speaker for each month is announced via our website and social media pages. Most meetings qualify for CPE/CLE credit. An evite is sent out to our monthly membership list each month, providing members the opportunity to RSVP. Executive Board Meetings
The Executive Board of the Asheville Area Paralegal Association is composed of the Officers, the Chairmen of the Committees, and the Immediate Past President. Meetings are typically held at 1pm on the third Wednesday of the month at the Van Winkle Law Firm. Notice of the meeting is sent by the Secretary at the direction of the President. The day prior the meeting, the Secretary distributes an Agenda, the Committee Reports, and any Reports of the Officers to attendees. Members are welcome to attend Executive Board Meetings to discuss any concerns or ideas they have with the Executive Board.
Committee Meetings are held by the Chairman of the Committees at times and places that are announced to the Committee Members. Members are strongly encouraged to attend Committee Meetings of areas they are interested in to offer their ideas and possibly volunteer with the Committee.
